Food poisoning is a disease of the Gastrointestinal Tract.
Illness caused by eating contaminated food is Food poisoning.
The contaminated food or water contains bacteria, parasites, viruses.
It may also contains the toxins that are made by the germs.
Few of them may affect the Nervous system.
Regular hand washing and cleanliness are the most effective defenses against the Food borne Illness.
Raw fish or oysters
Raw meat and Poultry
Undercooked meats or eggs
Frozen or refrigerated foods
Bacteria, Viruses and toxins
Parasites, E. Coli and Staphylococcus bacteria
Peppermint for Food Poisoning
Prepare a tea by adding Peppermint. Tea can be made by dried Peppermint leaves or by adding green leaves to it.
Lemon for Food Poisoning
Take one tablespoon of lemon juice with ¼ th teaspoon of sugar two times a day.
Or: Have lemon juice one or two times a day.
Basil ( Tulsi ) for Food Poisoning
Extract the juice of Basil leaves. Add ½ teaspoon of Honey to it. Have two – three times a day.
Honey for food Poisoning
Add one teaspoon of Honey in a glass of water. Drink. Take this two times a day.
Garlic ( Lehsun ) for food Poisoning
Take one Garlic clove with water once in a day.
Or: Take Garlic oil and Soya oil. Apply over the stomach after having dinner.
Banana ( Kela ) for Food Poisoning
Have two ripe Bananas in a day.
Ginger ( Adrak ) for Food Poisoning
Peel and grate a small piece of Ginger ( Adrak ). Boil in a cup of water for 2 minutes. Strain and add sugar. Have it after lunch and dinner too.
OR : Squeeze juice of Ginger ( Adrak ). Mix half teaspoon of juice with half teaspoon of Honey ( Shehad ). Have it twice a day.
OR : You may chew a small piece of Ginger ( Adrak ) after meals.
Apple Cider Vinegar ( Seb Ka Sirka ) for Food Poisoning
Add one tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar ( Seb Ka Sirka ) in a glass of lukewarm water. Drink it before taking a meal.
Fenugreek ( Methi ) for Food Poisoning
Take a teaspoon of Fenugreek ( Methi ) seeds. Swallow it with Yogurt. It gives you immediate relief.
